Great great video! Beautiful track. Question though, how do u de-program a ghost car. For me, once they attain the spiritual mode, I can’t bring them back. What am I doing wrong????

While the ghost car is running press the code button one time. Then press a trigger on one of your controllers. You're now back in control.

I have another question. How do u realistically keep track connected? Those red clips suck. If u add anything, a third or quarter straight to a curve or mix curves, forget about it, constantly pulling apart. How do u maintain ur big tracks so well?

@@johnyannelli2480 Are you banking any of the turns? If not one of your straights is too long or you need a softer curve (2/30, 3/30, ect.)

Hi completely new to slot cars - bought a brand new Carrera 132 digital set for my son this Christmas, we have four cars and four wireless controllers. Any time we start racing we have an issue where the control unit seems to go into a frenzy - all lights flashing, cars come to a stop - very frustrating. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting everything, I’ve tried with only a couple of cars, all cars, etc - all possible combinations - but it still keeps happening. As you can imagine not great when you have a 12yo kid that was extremely excited to begin with! Main unit is definitely pointing the right direction, same with lane changing track parts. When this happens the lights in the control unit seem to all go off, cycling through all lights for about 5 seconds, then lights in cars go back on and it lets you race again. Extremely annoying because it then seems to happen every few seconds. Hopefully something “easy” to sort?? All help much appreciated…

Well first off you have a year warranty so try not to stress! It sounds like you have a short. Check the cars to make sure all the brushes on the bottom aren't going over or under the guide flag. Next try the cars out individually. If one car is the problem call Carrera for a replacement. I hope that helps.

@@Sundayslotcars just tried, seems that once it happens it then keeps happening every few seconds at random (not same intervals). I managed to race every single car on its own without issue. @@tiagodecc To me it seems like one of the cars is causing a short. You can try calling Carrera 1 609-409-8510.

@@Sundayslotcars I’ve removed all crossing lanes, keeping it as simple as possible - the only component to blame being either the CU or one of the cars. The cars option seems less likely since I’ve tried running a single car on its own and still get the same things with all of the four cars we have… I’ve emailed Carrera product support. 😞
