Making excuses, about it being a bad day, is not a mature or responsible option. ~ Of course, the problem with hotheaded, is that it isn't rational; it's rash. People over-react when they either: * feel insecure (including taking on too much responsibility) and/or * think that they are the centre of the universe (rather than being servant to something more important than themselves) The answer to the latter is putting duty to an orderly, secure, graceful, harmonious society before yourself. The answer to the former is surrounding yourself with other people who that (duty) also. Today's society sets itself against that with its lust for noise and self-obsession. It was unkind because people should be and do as they think and feel and not conform to "what has already been done". It was in authentic because you could be polite and not really feel the politeness being expressed. It came to be viewed as heroic to be offensive. Eventually the state became involved and politics weaponized the freedom to offend just for the sake of self expression. So guess what. Now we thoroughly hate each other. No surprise there.

Very impressive short film, pardon my twisted way of seeing things but that mellow, laid back attitude Jeff had the second time around made me rethink the title...."Jeff Smokes First Joint."

I laughed when he took out that ridiculously large circular "personality" and dumped it on top of the emotions. Suddenly I felt like I was watching a comedy sketch.

This is more about keeping your cool then controlling your emotions, i mean real emotion isnt the same as overreacting to a minor problem, you really should express your emotions, there are exceptions to every rule thou

Self control is a rare and valuable quality! There is nothing more unattractive than being out of control - it's desperate attention-getting behavior and the complete opposite of class. Sad that this is the norm now, not the exception. Everybody has a "disorder".🙄 Yes, a lack of order, for sure.
@depressedphilosopherbitch758111 ай бұрын
@@TSeeker1um, disorders DO exist.🙄 Not everyone has one but many do.
@TSeeker111 ай бұрын
@@depressedphilosopherbitch7581 If a large sum of money was involved, I'm betting people with these "disorders" could refrain from acting like the entitled, spoiled little children that they are. The demonizing of real discipline in favor of diagnosing "disorders" and giving children mind numbing chemicals and a pass has turned our children and young adults into monsters. Evil exists. It has just been given a number of names in the unscientific field of "mental illnesses". In other words, it shouldn't be tolerated. Bad behavior isn't something new or special, it is just being encouraged by coddling people who need their asses kicked.

I love watching these! It was a completely different era but the messages are just as relevant today as they were then. I think it’s great to watch something other than the same old acting/graphics/whatever is “in” nowadays. I’m so bored of 2021 trends.

If society allowed this type of education in schools nowadays, I believe we would have very different and improved behavior in most everyone. But we have to bow to everyone's feelings and it's obvious that this type of helpful information would hurt a lot of feelings.
