Mine works on my carplay with the Meross opener. I didn’t even have to set it up. It just appears. Is it based on my location? Really cool.

Yes it does but you must have a iPad or Apple home on the network setup as a home hub.

Did you need the Meross adapter … I just added the Meross and it’s not working I have the yellow learn button and it says it needs and accessory but doesn’t say what accessory

@@baseosparker you have to program your opener to use the Meross just like adding a remote.

I have Homekit set up and I have the Meross Garage Door. It seems like I should be able to do this but not any of the shortcuts or automations will create a button when I arrive. I wonder if you could give me a clue on what I need to do?

Make sure homekit shows it as a garage door and make it a favorite no automation is needed to should just pop up on CarPlay Dashboard

@@keenanjeff I have the same problem because it doesn't pop up on my CarPlay Dashboard. I have tried getting it work in the settings but nothing makes it happen. The "funny" thing is that my daughter's iPhone does work with the CarPlay Dashboard and I can't find the difference between our phones. Otherwise it works using voice command with Siri and touching the screen on the phone but not in CarPlay.

@@keenanjeff This will not make me sound smart....but yesterday I realized that the garage button shows up on the screen with the Apple Map and now playing windows...I was expecting it to pop up in the music album view...so now it works...last night I kept getting "obstruction detected" but hopefully now that I have changed the opening time it will correct itself.

@@Johnmhemp it shows up in the dashboard view when you are near home press the icon in the lower left if you are in a fullscreen carplay app

@@keenanjeff Yes.....fingers crossed the "obstruction detected" disappears. It is gone on my phone so I will see this afternoon. I changed the open time to 25 secs.

You have to set the door as a favorite on your home app then it shows up in carplay you need a home hub like a ipad or homepod in the home to make this all work

try opening and closing the door from your phone after adding it to favorites I actually have 2 door controllers in apple home only the one I favorited shows up in carplay it also shows up on my apple watch.

Make sure the door is set as a favorite on your home controller device this has to be a ipad or homepod setting it as a favorite on your phone will not work.

One more thing to try remove the car from your phone and car and re add it I bet it shows up now!

What a bunch of garbage. I have to pay an additional fee to have the MyQ on my CarPlay even though I have two $500 garage door openers, a MyQ bridge and a brand new car. wtf?!
