Amazing! That's the biggest improvement I've seen on any one Zen video, and I've watched just about all of them.

Another fab transformation Markus and Team. Michael is set for a dramatic drop in his handicap.

Great stuff Marcus! As someone once said, "By the time you change direction the swing is over". No time to think about a multiplicity of positions or mini moves. The biggest improvement in my forty-year-old swing came when I started to focus on intended ball flight and then, critically, achieving the club 'swish' noise AFTER the ball. It's a great single swing thought for the course too.

I have found in my own swing and others I've helped that the early release is often the byproduct of an incomplete turn in the backswing (body and arm structure) so the tendency is to feel like you have to rush back to the ball to generate power. This is REALLY a great message/instruction as per usual Zen Team!

I’ve learned from this channel the 10000 hour talent code is a myth ... it’s all about understanding the actual task ... and once you understand it the talent comes instantly... each Zen video is hardcore evidence and proves it!

@@longjohn5322 @ZEN golf mechanic I am well aware of the narrative of the Talent Code ... They targeted professional who have the common denominator of being "affiliated" with their respective endeavor for more than 10K hours ... Yet in retrospect the claim 10K is some magical tipping point ... In fact my point is bolstered by their example of overhyping and romanticizing young Russian children pretending to swinging a tennis racket for several days as part of the 10K process ... #really Sounds good in theory and there may have been some benefit but still no proof .. Placing a 10K label on any working professional that has been affiliated with their endeavor for decades is worthless ... And by the way ... If you really pay attention to Marcus videos he has worked with the so called PROFESSIONALS too ... who greatly improved because they gain a different PERSPECTIVE to the task as I mentioned earlier. Bottom line ... understand the task .. build more competence .. and "krush" the romanticized 10K zone (that never really existed) ...

How would this apply to driver? Just create an air divot behind the ball and catch the ball on the upswing?
@brianmccool97282 жыл бұрын
The high/low draw thing confuses me a bit. If you release the toe you'd be decreasing loft - low draw. The high draw just seems counter intuitive to this kind of approach to generating shape - face closed to path but maintaining loft = high draw?
