Hey, did they ever change the monoprice amp to allow a volume up button or did you have to program individual volume buttons? Last time I tried I was forced to make buttons and select the volume I wanted, not just volume up

Dude this is gold. I get so much flax for recommending this house amp and now you just showed me the easy way to control it with an app and never even thought of looking for it. Harmony has always been my go to but it can be a pain in the butt. Some back boxes and the alpha speakers and its a killer set-up for the price vs 3k for russsound. In case you haven't figured it out i'm a jack of all and a master of none lol.

You can't beat this setup for the price. We use it everyday. I was going to get either a russound or htd, but I could afford to do it.

Thanks for posting. One question: will the iTach (and the iOS app) be able to control the Monoprice amp if the keypads that come with the Monoprice aren't ever installed? Or do the Monorprice keypads need to be installed for this to work? Hoping to be use the Monoprice amp but unfortunately can't install the keypads because I don't have (and cant get) Cat 5e or Cat6 wiring running through my walls. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Awesome work. I just unboxed our brand new mono price 6 zone amp and saw that zone # 5 standby/on light is not lit whereas the other zone lights are lit. Any thoughts? Thx.

Hey there, did you ever figure out that zone 5 light issue? Reason I ask, is my zone 5 does the same thing, though it's never interfered with playing audio.

I have the flex ip and the rs232 cable and my two monoprice amps. I have already set up the controllers in each zone of my new home. I thought I would be able to connect to the wifi with the flex ip, but I didn't realize there would have to be a direct connection to the network. Where I am placing my system is not near where I was going to place my router. Does the flex ip have to connect directly to the router?

You can get the flex wifi version, the flex ip is struggle hard wired to your network

Yes, I can use both the keypads and the app. It doesn't matter which you use.

Hello, do you know what to do if a Dell Optiplex 755 desktop computer turns on but then on the screen it says “Your PC has ran into an problem...” and it resets by itself and then goes to automatic repair but your mouse and keyboard won’t type? I called Dell technical assistance but they don’t want to help me because I don’t have the newer models of their computers
