There is something about the Xbox 360 controller that feels so human to me, it’s so simple and yet so iconic. It’s not too primitive while still staying durable, and avoiding unnecessary over-complication, instead opting for great features like having the option to switch between rechargeable and non rechargeable battery packs without even needing to buy a second controller. The most impressive thing to me is how Iv’e used this controller since childhood and as I’ve aged and grown up I’ve never once had to worry about the grip. It truly is a work of art and a masterclass in electronic design.

I used to work at a nearby gamestop and actually quite liked cleaning the controllers and consoles. A detailed cleaning wasn’t required, only a simple wipe down, but eh weekdays were slow. It was hella gross sometimes, but also weirdly satisfying. (seriously tho, clean y’all’s stuff guys)

My only issue with ASMR is the oversaturation and overuse of tapping on things. Its not a trigger for me personally, but with how often content creators rely on it, you'd think tapping is almost a guarantee tingle trigger for people. There's a reason why I search for unintentional ASMR rather than the popular created ASMR.

For me tapping has to be a very specific type in order to get tingles from it. Most tapping is kinda neutral but there’s some tapping that just irritates me to no end. Like I love long acrylic nails tapping on a hard surface like marble or a school desk type material. Tapping on cardboard and wood and other softer materials is fairly neutral unless it’s a weird rhythm without a general pattern or not enough chaos. Then it’s just irritating. I do definitely agree that it’s heavily used to a point that I try to avoid videos that mention it as a trigger. I like how BeebeeAsmr does it a lot. She usually taps on the metal part of her mic with her nails only so it’s a sharper sound. And she typically doesn’t overdo it
