About Sunrizer. I think the problem is sunrizer, not gadget because I have the same problem with other sequencers. BUT if you load sunrizer in AUM or Apematrix, it works fine. For AUM, Just send midi from gadget to AUM and choose AUM Destination as the midi source for sunrizer in AUM. I suggest choosing one midi channel to send to, so it won’t be a mess if you decide to have another AU in the same AUM project. I actually like using AUM to host AU apps. It’s a good way to organize synths and you can easily use another AU to modulate it. ApeMatrix actually has a fantastic LFO built in to modulate any AU synth it is hosting.

Sunrizer works ok for me. You switched on Background Audio on the Moog. You need to do the same on Sunrizer (top-left)

Hi great video . I kind if want to the opposite way round - use the electribe to control gadget ? is this possible to do ? the idea is to use samples on the ipad from the electribe .......

Rezzonator I bought the Yamaha Bluetooth MD-BT01 midi dongle and can play external synths, then I bought a cheap usb to audio converter ( Must be driverless) and connected it to my iPad with a camera connection kit, I can now record audio from external gear straight into Gadget using Rosario , the sort of audio converter can be found here for only a few pounds/dollars www.amazon.co.uk/Sabrent-External-Adapter-Windows-AU-MMSA/dp/B00IRVQ0F8/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1HDCWXMWEI72C&keywords=usb+to+audio+adapter&qid=1561308217&s=electronics&sprefix=Usb+to+audi%2Celectronics%2C161&sr=1-3 but many different ones work, has to be plug and play, just as long as they don’t require a driver.

I also bought a Zoom U-24 to record my external synth, however I’m wondering if there’s a way to record a software synth on the iPad such as the Model 15. I can control it from the Gadget through MIDI as shown in this video but I can’t find a way to record the audio back in Gadget.

How is the Audio set up ? I can receive midi but no sound is coming out are you using an external mixers also ?

It is good practice to not set midi channel settings that you don’t use.in the model 15 example, you are only sending midi to model 15 and not out of it so I would deselect all the midi out. Also if you send from gadget and see model 15 in the list without choosing gadeget in model 15 then you can clear all the midi apps from the midi in of model 15. What you see in gadget is the virtual port of model 15 that is there all the time. If you go with setting more rather than less you will have problems like stuck notes and weird artifacts] because of duplication. The rule is to set the midi in only one of the apps,if it works. The problem is that the apps do not do midi all the same way. Some require you to set the midi out in order to have a virtual port and others expose one all the time. So to be clear, in this case all the midi except choosing a channel in model 15 should be cleared and set up the midi to model 15 from gadget only.

Nothing shows in the system 15 with background on or in gadget with Taipei. All it say is network session. Same thing with every other one I tried . People said this works but it doesn’t apparently any more like inter app audio doesn’t either 😤👽
