Hope to see the SPD-SX pro included in this series. This is a very interesting and important topic and I’m glad to see tutorials on this as a drummer & MD that just received a pa1u, long time Spd-SX and now SPD-SX Pro user but otherwise illiterate to integrating Ableton and Midi besides being on a few gigs where the artist already had a session for the show and all I had to do was patch their usb cable into my Pad and go to work with all of the automation working brilliantly but way over my head. Especially LTE timecode. I’d love to just learn how to midi everything on stage slaved to my Spd-SX per kit number as a starting point then move onto gridding the show session in Ableton and tieing it in with the lesson of this video!

I think about buying an SPD-X for about 6 months… Maybe it is going to be a SPD-X-mas present 😂

Great Video!! Is there a way to make several program changes during one song in session view? Or is it just possible in arrangement view?

Thank you Will! Does that work in the same way when I have a mioXM in between? Connect via USB to the mioXM and then over RTPmidi for longer distances, does that apply the same way?
