also soso real i consider myself a minimalist and get overwhelmed w clothes extremely easily but i could not agree more w the capsule wardrobe part. clothes r like little art pieces we get to wear. so why deny ourselves the joy of owning many of these beautiful things if we have the space

Something i really like is taking to the extreme your natural features, for example if you have blonde hair make it super blonde. I think it looks so good and makes you look cooler even. You can never go wrong with it because its your natural way

My unpopular opinion is I hate the word timeless!! Every time there’s a colour, silhouette, pattern, item, any other trend that people are sick of, everyone describes the up and coming new thing which is less overused as “more timeless”. I see style advice youtubers going round the hamster wheel all the time, and I want to shake them and remind them that people said the same thing about the last trend! I like loads of the current cool stuff that gets called timeless (loose fitting clothes, neutrals, the colour brown, etc), but I can’t deny that in a few decades my outfit will be a recognisably 2020s outfit, and it will probably look dated and uncool to the 2050s fashion youtubers lolll. Funniest example of this was watching people do a HARD U-turn on the adidas sambas lmao, people were all like “they go with EVERYTHING and theyre TIMELESS” and now it’s all “5 shoes you should buy instead of sambas” 😭
