He got hate first with "alliances" he made with certain handheld companies, and that it seemed he overly criticized others while lying about promises and performances of the ones he promoted, which wasnt true, he stated multiple times he works with multiple groups planning or designing devices but the bigfest issue was he working with the retroid pocket people and when the rp3 was releasing he pointed out they had too many bad batches because they werent doing proper quality checks and retroid basically sperged and accused him of a bunch of stuff especially wjen he was working with ayn on the odin and loki releasing. Ever since they just call him a whole bunch of things. Even though he ended being right about the things he criticized of those companies.

I've watched that inglebard video, it was very well done. I think the nes had more interesting backgrounds ,even the gamegear version had more effort put into it than the genesis one like halfway through. I recall the genesis port lacking parallax scrolling for some unknown reason. I can't remember what the snes version had though.

If Flight simulator is unplayable without servers. How long will they last? Is this the begginig of another "The Crew"? If microsoft doesn't make more money in a few months it means all the people who already paid are screwed? Are they going to allow users to open their own public servers to keep playing in perpetuity if there is at last one user that can mantain the servers? You are paying 69.99, for that price you have to be reasured that the game can be played without the input of the developer. If in 2035 someone wants to play, they paid for it and should be allowed so.

fwiw I've held off on reviewing Flight Sim and have been playing it since launch. Overall, even with the bugs, my experience is overall good. I like the updates to the game. It does feel like an expansion of 2020 more than a new game.

I'd give the edge to the famicom version. The changes they made to the difficulty for the japanese market actually makes it less frustrating to play.

MegaDrive/Genesis version is best for me, it just doesn't have the awesome NES/FamiCom intro that was added to those versions.

Bizhawk is based on the same foundation as RetroArch, namely Libretro. I think it uses the same cores, but not sure if they need to be compiled for Bizhawk or if I can just drag and drop the exact same binary over. Does anyone use both? I'm looking for Bizhawk as an emulator to get into Speedrun, as RetroArch seems to be banned because of some enhancing features?

BizHawk isn't based on RetroArch, but it does use some of its cores. You cannot just copy things over, it doesn't work that way. BizHawk also has a lot of enhancing features, but they are optional.

Very good looking Xbox Mouse+Keyboard from 8bitdo! Again no German Layout. 😥 I have the NES mouse and apart from the fact that it looks very cool and has a great feel, the internal hardware makes it almost unusable. Accordingly, I am skeptical about the Xbox mouse.

yes because the app is broken! The store froze the updates and the whole app so the dev cannot update anything! He says everyone should use the free version! There was an announcement already.

@rolux4853 That's on the appstore if I'm correct, I'm more so talking about both apps in general, I'm on android and I've always had this issue. For example persona 3 portable, tactics ogre:Luct and final fantasy crisis core won't even open correctly or crash mid game on the free version, however the paid version it does play, even finished 2 of the aforementioned games. I even made sure the settings are the same and even then same result.

The flight simulator stuff is weird. It was definitely rushed. But when it works it’s impressive, I’ve seen it run on potatoes very well. This means that when the servers are dead nobody will be able to play it but for now it allows for a lot more people to have a good experience. I don’t have high hopes for M$ future behavior though. So better buy it knowing that it will become a digital paperweight in the future.
