***SPOILERS*** I was having to catch up during the intro part of the stream, so I had it playing at 2x speed. When Sheepy said his upcoming show is called "Berserker," I initially heard it as "Ahsoka" and shuddered before backing up the video to play it again out of sheer confusion and horror, ultimately sighing out of relief as I heard it correctly the second time around. The "Don't worry, be happy" gag later on in the episode also gave me a good smile. Speaking of amusement, I found myself laughing more than I ought to at the patrol group's dialogue, with deep and introspective lines like "I love Chaos!" and "Chaos is great!" In regard to that scene with the patrol, that had to be a lot of fun for Katt as Sister Superior Rose got to stealth kill three heretics whilst supervising engineers setting explosives and taking out an objective. She was truly doing the Emperor's work. The personal scenes were quite nice in this episode, such as the aforementioned Katt stealth mission, as well as Lillit's scene. She interrogated a soldier who ignored a request for aid from Sisters of Battle who were in trouble, saving himself and his men in the process...at least until Lillit executed him and Minerva put that squad on the front lines of battle, effectively guaranteeing their deaths as well. We also have Sister Helestri's scene with the dying Sister whom she was trying to save, comforting her before the woman's body ultimately gave out. It was quite melancholy hearing how dedicated she was to the cause, craving to get back to the wall to fight for what she believed in, only to die seconds later, her dying wish unfulfilled. I never saw that Bloodthirster summoning coming (and neither did the Sisters or their players, clearly!). That situation is looking pretty horrible for our protagonists, though trouble is also boiling within. Is it any wonder that my favorite scene in this episode was the Helestri-and-Lillit scene at the end? Both players had been playing their characters so well since their introductions that I could completely see their impending conflict and how that there would be no peace between those two, given that Lillit was sent to destroy Helestri's coveted research she'd acquired. The whole time, I was sitting there thinking "Is Helestri going to let her do it? She wouldn't let her do it, right? Would she kill her?!" Then, as Helestri picked up the scalpel and walked toward Lillit, I was basically just making the "awesomeface.jpg" expression, unable to stop myself from smiling as the backstab transpired. The players did a great job here, as a "heel-turn PvP kill" in another show a few years back on a different channel left me rather dissatisfied and it did nothing to improve that show for me. This one, on the other hand, is probably my favorite moment in Conventual Warfare thus far. Kudos to 3llebelle for being down for that and playing her character true to her convictions to the very end (same with Saffy last time, of course!). Helestri is definitely my favorite character in the show now. I don't know where things will go from here, though; whether some of the ladies will escape the planet or not, whether Rose will get turned into a pancake by that Bloodthirster or not, and whether Helestri will get found out as a "traitor." Things are coming to a head, and I'm surprised that it's all going to get wrapped up in just one more episode! We'll have to wait and see how things conclude. =)
