I love it. Surely you have seen the battle sequence at sector 001 from Star Trek Six, where the CGI team snuck the Millenium Falcon into the battle off in the distance, just before the Enterprize E shows up. You can't see her very well, and it was meant to honor both franchises, but it's still one of my favorites... Until now. Great production. Live long and prosperous, brother.

Hardly interesting. D7 is designed to fight at warp speed. ISD isn't designed to fight or even detect objects on FTL velocities. Basically D7 could just dance around ISD, making faster-than-light passes and pounding it with disruptors and photon torpedoes - while ISD would not even be able to detect the attacker (it would always be tracking the PAST position of warp-speed D7)

@@nicoferguson1215 , ISD armor is designed to stand against thermal and electrical shock of plasma projectiles (fired by turbolaser batteries and ion guns). Not against nadion particles from disruptors - which disrupt atomic nucleus, essentially making matter fall apart with a lot of energy released - and hard gamma and X-rays from photon torpedoes (which are essentially antimatter bombs of dozens of megaton scale). To put it simply, ISD is protected with wrong kind of armor.

something like this was done a few years ago. I forget the name of the video, but it had merged Halo, Star Trek, Star Wars, and Mass Effect, into a 30ish minute movie that was actually good!

For that inevitable ""hurr durr lazhers can't touch Trek ships" diatribe: Disruptors & Turbolasers are [despite the names] functionally very similar wespon systems, as types of directed plasma cannons. The Torpedoes are quite comparable too, and SW arguably has the better guidance options. The shield bit is a straight up myth, with Capital Ships in SW having a two layer system (one being a ray shield, with the other being for physical objects), that actually tanks a lot of damage in-universe. This is to say; it would be a *Glorious* battle, between two hefty opponents 😌👌

The Torpedoes are quite comparable too, and SW arguably has the better guidance options.
