Conversation Cafe with Carsten Lützen

Have you played with Liberating Structures yet? If not, try them!! This one is called "Conversation Cafe" (www.liberatings...) and is an awesome way to structure discussions to make sure everybody has time to voice their opinions.

Dear Carsten - thank you so much for this video. Do you find conversation cafe just works for one question at a time, or can you do a few different questions in one go? Thanks, Catherine

I would recommend one prompt at the time to keep people focused on that. Especially because in round 1 and 2 there is no "conversation" it is mostly monologues (not really, but still taking turns talking without a possiblity to answer straight away). If we have multiple questions then we might end up with several conversation taking place in parallel. For that I would maybe use Impromptu Networking or Open Space.

Hi Carsten, thanks for your video! Do you keep the groups of 5-7 people all for rounds? Or are the last two rounds with the whole team? In the first case; how do you debrief? Thanks!

Hi :). I keep the same groups in all the rounds because they need the context from the previous rounds (if that makes sense :)).
