I do not believe the President should "order" a release of a matter in court. You cannot "direct " the Court. Do not play politics with Court processes. Without prejudice is a wrong word. 1. They should be discharged by the court or sentenced 2. Then they can be pardoned. 3. The prosecution Team should be queried of processes of arraignment of minors. THIS IS REALLY DANGEROUS AND A PRECEDENT LIKE THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR OUR JURISPUDENCE. They should have handled it using processes of the LAW. so what it means is that , a social outcry or pressure ( blackmail) from some quarters would make you interfere in the Judicial Processes of the country. Were they pardoned? Were they discharged.? Were they wronly arraingned? Do we not have Lawyers in the prosecution team? Was the office of the DPP consultanted? Politics everywhere. The kids should be granted bail without any monetary conditions or be released .

In this follow up If the President can so "direct", so the pressure from IPOB and increased insecurity in the SE should make the President direct the release of Nnamdi Kanu. A breach of the child rights is same as a breach of fundamental rights of any citizen. So to be clear, do things the RIGHT way. Let the kids be discharged. Then " we" can now pursue fundamental breaches. This direction has "prejudiced " the court processes.
