The title is quite unfortunate, as a normal person would read it ("Conversation with Monika Wiesak, America’s Last President") and understand that America's last president was "Monika Wiesak"... correctly it should have been {Conversation with Monika Wiesak, the author of the book titled "America's Last President"}.

Kennedy gave good speeches inspired idealism had mostly good foreign policy but had no mojo with congress in actually passing civil rights Medicare tax cut federal aid to education he did succeed in getting big nuclear and conventional force increases space program passed ie Cold War spending his brother was a vindictive arrogant guy who alienated many powerful ruthless individuals and organizations which resulted in Kennedy’s death and later Bobby’s when his hubris blinded him to the fact that those forces were not going to tolerate his return as president Johnson got all the domestic priorities passed and more namely voting rights and very progressive.immigration reforms Vietnam mess started with Ike installing ngo Dinh diem as head of south Vietnam which was the fatal blunder that doomed our effort there
