That's great! If you have the chops, why not? I am 73, and I am not dead yet. Like Stevie, I am clean and sober - life is so much more fun when you are actually conscious and there to enjoy it. I am not famous or really professional; I am singing with a voice that's better than what I had in my 20s. So, yeah, just because you are what people call old, it doesn't mean that you should stop doing what you love. I still go to Rock Clubs. I don't care that I might be a fossil standing in a crowd of teens. As long as she has the chops, I will go see Stevie if she comes out on stage using a walker and wears Depends!

Every time I hear Stevie sing/scream “Time casts a spell on you, but you won’t forget me, I knew I could of loved you but you wouldn’t let me, I’ll follow you down till the sound of my voice will haunt you, Give me just the chance, You’ll never get away from the sounds of the woman that loves you” at Lyndsey Buckingham I get goose bumps, the lyrics, passion, meaning behind the song is so powerful. My go to watch on You Tube. If they ever start charging per view I will go broke. Thank you Stevie Nicks. You are priceless

I read through the comments below. I can see how some think that she comes off with an attitude. But I think they are misreading Stevie and what she's trying to say. I don't think Stevie is attempting to impress or trying to be condescending about anything. I think she's just speaking from her heart and saying "Hey, this is what my life has been about." She might be presenting it in a way that puts some people off, but again, I don't think she's being pretentious. I think she's being honest. She understands what fame can do to a person more then most of us ever will. She's lived it and come out the other end a survivor. It has obviously influenced and affected everything she's done and the way she thinks. I think that would be true of anyone who has had her kind of success. I think Stevie's as beautiful as she's ever been, and I'm grateful for her honesty and bluntness. I'm also grateful for her music.

+Dan Witter Exactly! People don't have any reverence/respect for our musical predecessors. Stevie is a true artist, a brilliant song writer, and has the voice of an angel. She's a game changer! She's what's missing in music right now. She contributed so much to the catalog of rock and popular music! She has a right to be proud of her accomplishments . I also think that because she's a woman, people are put off by her pride. I say LONG LIVE STEVIE NICKS! One of the greatest of all time!

I didn't realize people had such a negative view of Stevie until I went on a Fleetwood Mac forum about a month ago. That makes me sad. She's a confident woman, but I don't think she's condescending at all. I think she's direct and no bullshit. But from what I've heard about her, she has a ridiculously big heart and cares a lot for other people.

She is still a child of the 60’s at heart so that sounds about right . This validates that she is real and aging the way she feels comfortable. On stage is a different story.. She knows what her audience expects . They want the magical, beauty of old and she has to deliver that. And thankfully she has great skin . It is her biggest asset now because wrinkly skin ages your look big time . This attitude is confidence , maturity and appreciation for the perks of being a wealthy megastar . She earned every bit of it . What i admire is her is commitment to her art throughout her career and ability to continue to perform and wow audiences at her age . She is still rocking w grace and elegance . She is still a charismatic beauty on stage and so she is doing her job as Stevie Nicks

I feel like I understand this a bit as a woman already showing signs of real aging in my fifties. I will say this...Nicks was a pretty natural gorgeous girl in her day. Try to find a bad picture of her. Unlike some of the fakes today like say..Lady Gaga (in her twenties & thirties and already wearing wigs, has had her nose fixed, possibly by contouring, even though earlier on said she wouldn't, spray tans, etc.. Gaga does have a great voice and amazing musical talent but wow has she gone through a beauty transformation- from a pretty girl to now gorgeous. Images can be created to an extent.

Almost every comment is the same as the last one and they all are just repeating the obvious. Wig or no wig makeup or no makeup sunglasses are no sunglasses she's a beautiful woman and to be jealous it's just a really ugly look we have to lift each other up as women instead of putting each other down or making excuses of why someone looks good I'm sure that would be a major turnoff to any man but I'm just guessing

Stevie Nick's, living legend. I heard Landslide the first time in 1975, I was 11 years old. Fell in love with Fleetwood Mac that year. Rumours in junior high, to Mirage my senior year. Fleetwood Mac, the whole band, are just part of my growing up. Her first solo album came out my junior year in high school. The women in Fleetwood Mac were amazing. The album was amazing. She probably helped save my life. That band was one of my favorites. Eurythmics came out with sweet dreams when I was 19 so that's a bit different. Lindsay's guitar and songs were already legend. Stevie and Chris kicked their platform boots right through that glass ceiling in rock and roll with charting single after charting single starting in 75. Yes I love Anne Lennox, but your only 10 years old once. Stevie has always been sheer class. Chris too. All of Fleetwood Mac. Sure, Dave and Anne too. Dave Stewart and Stevie Nicks cutting a record together is like some fantasy. Genius. How could you go wrong. Class. Sheer class. Velvet heaven like Fleetwood Mac harmonies, lol.

Hi, what you wrote about listing to Fleetwood Mac since 1975, very much reflects how I was introduced to them. I was 10 years old listening to the using my brothers cassette tape. Thanks for posting. You took me back to great times.

When you reach legendary status which this talented beautiful lady has, you realise its journey a long hard road that’s travelled with much heartache and emotional pain along the way. Greatness is earned not given to you by some no mark talentless individual telling you how good you are.

Whoever laughed when she says "until you find something that sounds good, then record it!" should have been ushered out, haha. Fellow genius self-taught pianist Nick Cave says the same thing and nobody bats an eyelash. Also, every word she spoke about Christine was gold.
