Renz Lagarde I feel like his channel is driven more with adult viewers that love performance sneakers. He actually tests his shoes on court. Hence wear testers which I appreciate. He found his niche vs a lot of other YT that post only hype shoes to resell or for clout. A much younger millennial following. Love this channel.

I'm really intrigued by the Converse G4, I like the low-top silhouette much more than the mid/high-top version. I'm also like you in that I had both the Puma Legacy '68 and Puma Clyde Hardwood come in right before Australia went into lockdown on March 13, so I haven't even worn them yet. I also had a pair of Zoom Freak 1s come in right before that, that I've only worn twice, and then I've got my Dame 6s that I've work around 4-5 times (that I really enjoy by the way, that's something you and I differ upon). So I would love to go out and get the KD13, these, maybe the Westbrook One Take, maybe the KT5 Low -- but then I think about it and decide that it's better to save my $$$ because I can't go out and hoop in these kicks and give my thoughts anyway!

Not sure if it might be some kind of pattern but, the players on the Warriors all have shoe deals from big companies not named Nike and Adidas. I mean you can argue that UA is huge now, but when Curry switched over to UA they weren't that huge in the basketball market, KT has his deal with Anta which personally I feel is the best shoe company that balances performance and price, and now Draymond with Converse (technically Nike but you get what i mean). Maybe its probably the reputation of the Warriors that lets them make the decision to sign them as signature players. Dun flame me, just my opinion 😅

I understand it would be cool for Converse to have their own cushion setup, but that would be pretty unrealistic. That would mean there would be no reason for Nike not to take it and add it to their main brand, and it would be a waste if that was the case (as in a Converse-marketed cushioning setup is somehow “better” than react/zoom, but no utilized by Nike anywhere other than Converse). The main focus of having the Converse shoe is for the upper build, outsole build and how the cushioning is set up.
