I dived into hinduism and chanting mantras daily for hours at a time and i experienced a love that i had never known an overwhelming sensation of pure bliss, and joy. Calmness, mindfulness and intuition. And i realized something. Its not the religion you choose. All gods are of the same divine energies. Its about what you yourself do but meditation and chanting helps greatly to attain a better consciousness.

A far better answer would have been: No one can tell you how the divine manifests within you. If you believe you are hindu, then you are a hindu. However, understand that Hinduism is not a religion as it is known in the western mindset. It is a culture, religion, and social expression all wrapped up in one. The thing with conversion is all people are born into a religion. That doesn’t Necessarily mean that’s the religion for them. I totally understand what he ment when he said “go to your religion” but that’s not his religion that’s the religion he was born into. His religion is the one he picks and loves that he whole heartedly believes in. Conversion is such a great thing no matter what you convert to. It really helps people find a spiritual home and opens their hearts. You ever see someone set into their beliefs? They’re some of the most happiest and comfortable people I’ve ever meet.

What an excellent video. I'm English, in a "white male" body, raised by Christian parents who are very conservative etc but the path of "Dharma" has led me to two local temples where I go for Aarti, Puja etc. The one I go to is run by folks from Gujarat & has a huge Dattatraya figure which I do Puja, Japa etc for. I give milk etc to the Shivya long, do my offerings etc to Durga etc....... This "religion" to me isn't just about Rig Veda etc it's a way of life. Plus you don't find things like Shakti in The Bible, also the few Naga Sanyasi I've spoken to were very wise people. My way of living has changed so much since the day I learned who Durga is it's beyond words Jai Ma Durga.

Yes, I am like born hindu but I was never made to practise actively, we did havans and pujas often . But when I was 9 ,lost someone and was atheist like and like things didn't make sense , but shakti led me back . Muslims worship only the Supreme Brahma and no one else. For a worshiper of the Supreme Brahma, worshiping any existence or non-existence is the biggest degradation, demotion. A Muslim can be worshiped in Sanatan but if he becomes a worshiper then he will degrade and will be demoted. And secondly, Sanatan Dharma is there by birth and no one can become Sanatani later.

In support of the evangelical conversions, there was an argument in one of the forums that even Hindus do conversions and the man was giving the example of ISCON. Why conversation doesn't exist in Hinduism - E.g. if you are in an area where clean drinking water is not available . Boiling water will render it germ free . Will do ask someone's permission to convert to scienctific principle. In Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism) one's spiritual journey is not based on "faith" or "belief" or the kind of exclusivity that the act of "conversion" in the Abrahamic religions demand. The problem with pseudo secular guys like Lakhani is their Gandhian mindset ( Gandhi was totally ignorant about Sanatana dharma) and accepting narrow Christian western worldviews as universal. Sri Lakhani should read and watch Swamy Dhayanda Saraswathi Ji’s articles and videos. Conversion is a genuine attempt to bring people back into Hindu fold. Arya Samaj did it successfully and a lot of Indian Christians and to a lesser extent Muslims, are now coming back home to Sanatana Dharma. Sri Lakhani, being pluralistic doesn’t mean ACCEPTING AND LEGITIMISING Abrahamic religions. Christianity and Islam are religions of EXCLUSIVISM and by preaching to people to stay in their own religion, you not only are doing a disservice to them and misleading them but are also going AGAINST our Dharma. Denying an opportunity for someone to be part of Dharma, that’s what you are doing sir. The aim of Sanatana Dharma is self realisation, that you are THAT, the all pervading supreme consciousness, Tat Tvam Asi. This is simply not possible if one stays in an exclusive religion like Christianity or Islam where there is an angry vengeful God who is monitoring HIS followers 24/7 and then blackmails transgressions / non believers with eternal hell. People in these religions are in FEAR OF THEIR GOD, understand this!!! They want OUT!!! Sir, come to reality, send people who are eager to convert to any number of Hindu organisations and they will happily do so. Conversion is an artificial construct to validate which might not be true. For example, Islam converts with power of a sword not by an idea.
