Hello, I have a question. I added cloth physics for the cable connected to a probe in blender. How do I transfer this physics to unity?

Not any easy way that I know of. Please check if this link helps: stackoverflow.com/questions/59994103/how-to-import-cloth-simulation-from-blender-to-unity

Is there a simple way to take a flat black and white image .png with transparent background and give it a real 3D depth? Not for animation but for STL model rendering. By the way, thank you for the invaluable lessons. Akerace Drill.

There are some AI programs (mostly paid) that can add depth information to any 2D picture and they mostly do an awesome job. It may not be possible natively. You can google it, look for AI services.

@@5MinutesBlender I also found using a b/w image, image as plane addon, displacement and smooth modifiers will do this. Thank you.

@@stewartpalmer2456 Yes, if it is like moon surface where we know that the dark portions are deep and white portions are flat. In this case we are depending on the picture itself to determine the depth. The AI programs that I was referring to are one step ahead - they try to "read" the contents of the image and apply a realistic depth. They will know what is a window for a house picture, how far are mountains compared to meadows etc.

@@5MinutesBlender Agreed. I'm looking for the simple b/w moon details. The deeper details I can handle. It's the texture type details which take me time. I'm still learning this very complex software. Thank you again. Blender on. Akerace Drill

@@stewartpalmer2456 You can send me an email (5minblender@gmail.com) with your texture and whatever object you have in a blend file. I can help you get those nodes in place for the type of depth you need.
