I actually appreciated the comments about “all of the strength is in the sidewall”. I did not know that before.

The macerator pumps are finicky. When they work, they are great... Paying attention to the amount and type of paper is important. Also, making sure no hair or "foreign" items are flushed. Also, having spare maceration pump parts on hand will be helpful to avoid inconvenience when the mercerator gives up. The simplicity of an rv style gravity toilet (where the seal is attained with a ball valve) will be appreciated the first time that the macerator clogs and needs to be repaired. I enjoy following along on your build and thought processes.

Thanks for the great comments. When we build the trailers we have redundant systems, and when it’s not practical we have spare parts. I hear you on the “foreign” material, when I was younger I did a lot of diving and on those boats the saying was the only thing you could put in the toilet was stuff that went thru you. Ironically, when I was testing the toilet I used a paper towel, not toilet paper, immediately stopped it up. Wrapped it up rather than cutting it. So I really appreciate your insight here. Thanks for your time and watching our videos.

Macerators are good things, I have friends with boats, they make pump out so much easier.😊 I wish they would put them in trailers. Since you're expanding do you have any openings for electrical/ Instrument designers with high voltage and fiber knowledge? 😊 Great work on the layout of the bunkhouse, looks like it's coming along.😊 .

Great video, makes me want to build a trailer as suggested by the other person. Noticed you had a Prevost nice to travel with,I on the other hand enjoy my MCI coach which is very similar to a Prevost.

That’s cool. My first coach was an mci. I actually converted it myself from an old seated coach. Mci buses are terrific product, they make a great foundation. Thanks for watching

After you cut the door hole, do you frame that hole out with metal, and then put the door frame in? If so what is it attached to? Is it just at the top and bottom, or are you catching the uprights on the sides?
@ParkerSystems

check out video 6 we go into a little more detail -- all three sides not the bottom -- thanks for watching

What if I want to drop the floor of the trailer also what do you think about sliding doors
@ParkerSystems
@ParkerSystems 3 ай бұрын
Check out some of our earlier videos -- I did pocket doors in my first two trailers--- dropping the floor would work but would be a lot of work -- I would suggest you build lower storage bays under the trailer to save space on the main level -- dropping the floor would be tricky
