yea so this does not work for 13562 base ten or decimel to base seven. i beleive answer is 54353 but your route gave me errors or just 535000seven

13562 (ten) = 54353 (seven) This is what I got by doing same method.

That's a clumsy method! It's easier to just continue doing integer division by 7 until you reach 0, and keeping track of all remainders. Put these together in reversed order and you get the result.

how do you find the remainder though? that part I cant seem to understand at all, and I've been using the method you mentioned
@christianbrolin14822 жыл бұрын
@@heran3326 4509 ÷ 7 = 644 R 1 644 ÷ 7 = 92 R 0 92 ÷ 7 = 13 R 1 13 ÷ 7 = 1 R 6 1 ÷ 7 = 0 R 1 The result is the remainder digits in reverse order, i.e, the digits after the Rs above, i.e. 16101. The remainder is what you get left after doing a long division without decimals. E.g. 17 ÷ 7 = 2 R x, where x = 17 - 2*7 = 17 - 14 = 3

@@christianbrolin1482 The division method shown here is clearly easier. Not sure why my teacher is telling us to do this
