From most of my research, building one of these silo homes would cost about $100K for a 36ft diameter home. Most of the cost depends heavily on the interior styling of the circular wall style and insulation choices.

I keep seeing all these videos for "land hacks" but no one ever talks about resorts, where you can buy a whole set of cabins on a lake (and even some camping/glamping spots) with a pre-existing client base for a fraction of the start up costs for it to be built all brand new, especially including the shared amenities places like these offer. I would like to see some kind of video showing off these options, or how they stand in the current market of airbnb land hacks.

Why are we not talking about the structural needs of building a home like this? I would assume a solo home is similar to a shipping container home, meaning additional structural reinforcements are needed. Perhaps that assumption is incorrect but does anyone have an explanation?

Basically for those in Europe, I did some calculations. 80 acres are the equivalent of 323.749 square meters!!!. If you want to buy that land in Romania (which is a very poor cheap country in Europe) it would cost you more than $4.5M. I don't really understand how the price of that much land is $300-500k in US lol

Someone please explain to me, if you have this type of remote land plot, how would you put electricity inside the property? Water? Swage?! How do you solve those issues for remote lands?

@@AndreiDanteYeah it'll cost more, solar is probably the best bet even if you have a lower energy usage and higher vacancy rate in an Airbnb. It adds to the aesthetic too since people rather like the look of solar panels and it makes them think it's sustainable, etc. You could just pull it from the grid even if it costs more though since realistically your energy usage will be relatively low, if you have poor insulation and thermo efficiency it'll be less viable obviously, I assume most of these Airbnb's would cheap out on material cost and insulation. 2 big cons to solar would be that you might need a battery which costs a fair amount and takes up a lot of space and the installation cost, you could do this yourself easily though. If you have a stream on your property a small residential hydropower generator would be a good option too.
