Part 5 Episode 3 - Tiny Mobile Truck Home Build Process【 Land Cruiser Camper Conversion 】
In this episode, Sifu Chuan helps us build an extra storage area with ventilation at the side of our camper car. It's a small storage space for us to keep our items during bedtime such as phones, cables, spectacles, hair bands, etc.
We also installed a tailgate rear foldable table. This table is super useful for a quick pop-out table! Can't wait to use it ;)
We installed magnets on the storage cabinets to hold the doors in place, preventing them from producing banging sounds while driving over bumps or on uneven roads.
Next, we installed the sink in its place. Hopefully, it will hold securely and prevent leaks! Finger crossed 🤞To hold the fridge in place, we strapped it with a bungee cord, ensuring it holds securely.
Our console box was broken when we got the car, and it bugged us as the power window switch was always hanging around with all the messy wires due to the broken console box. It would have cost about RM700+ to get a new one, so we asked Sifu Chuan to help us build one. Isn't it amazing that a console box could be built with wood? :D We also asked sifu Chuan to save a spot for my Nalgene water bottle, hehe :)
Next, the water sink flow system. To prevent any leakage, we just wrap wrap wrap the connecting pipe with with many many layers of Teflon tape. :D
Lastly, we DIY-ed our own classic-looking side door handlebar. The original handlebar was consuming a lot of space, so we replaced it with this DIY version. I love it very much! And how about you? What do you think? Let me know in the comments below. ;)

Probably want to use ratchet strap around the top of fridge while driving, just to stop any upwards movement under heavy breaking or cornering. Looks great fitout

Do you go rough off-roading? Or far off the beaten track? 'Coz if you do, that bungee style strap to keep your fridge in place won't prevent it from bouncing up and down. It really needs to be strapped down. And I'd recommend using Velcro for your centre arm rest to prevent it moving about and to keep better secured on the lid. Looking like a tiny home on wheels now. 👌
