@topstardetailing21 күн бұрын
Google is completely FREE! I wouldn’t recommend door knocking, I don’t want to say it’s a complete waste of time, but you will have very little return on your efforts… those are basically cold leads that you would be trying to sell your services… not ideal

Do you ask customers for pictures before giving them any prices?
@topstardetailing21 күн бұрын
@@lilxy7277 no, it’s an unnecessary step that most customers don’t want to deal with. The packages have set pricing based on how long the service would take and is subject to change upon inspection of the vehicle at arrival. If there is pet hair or any other circumstances that would require additional time outside of the normal service period then we would let the customer know there will be an additional cost due to the extended time to complete their service. It’s very rarely an issue. The only time I require pictures would be on some paint corrections to see the scratches, oxidation, overall condition of the paint to give me an idea of what I’m working with. Standard details you just book it and go, you want to make the process as easy as possible for the customer the less they have to do the more likely they are to book your service

I take the after pics then send to their cell along with the Google link and ask for “a positive note” (that way Google doesn’t pick up the word REVIEW for it may prevent the review from being posted in general) … I ask them to post the “positive note in a sentence or two” as I am nearing on departing the site. That way you feel very reassured & don’t have to remember on following up. If they possibly the stubborn type from the beginning go ahead & throw out a freebie to lower their guard to enhance their efforts to leave your ‘review’ near the end
@topstardetailing21 күн бұрын
Unlike that dogshit service yelp, google actually encourages you to ask customers for reviews so I don't think that would be an issue. I used to throw in an extra service here and there when I first got started to help boost my reviews, but not necessary for me these days with the amount I have.
