This is so funny because I just ate at Kura Sushi in Fort Lee New Jersey and I was so excited to find one near me in the US I didn’t realize it was a chain out of Japan I thought it was a chain just here in the US! So we went, expecting mediocre sushi and that you’re going to pay for the experience of the conveyor belt sushi, but we were actually really impressed we really like the sushi we got! Can’t wait to get back there again and hopefully visit one in Japan one day!

Those cover is a pre pandemic thing. In the California store they have a sample plate to teach you if it is your first time there. They will open one in San Francisco soon so I don’t have to drive 45 minutes to a Kura sushi.

I'm so MAD. The closest conveyor belt sushi place was about 20 minutes from me, but then they closed down. I'm not near any, anymore :( I miss it so much! Also: The "half boiled egg" is called a soft boiled egg :)
