To think! it took 81 years for me to find and watch this great movie {April 2020}. And it was well worth it, by far. It had me glued to it, right from the beginning, right to the very end. Can't thank you enough, to whoever added this to KZbin. Well worth watching again in the future.

There are sure alot of people in this movie that went on to become one of those character actors that you know well but just can not remember their names !!! I'm not quite sure why this film was entitled "The Convicts Code", as it portrayed virtually nothing about such code!! But it was descent film.... for the 1930s.... where the last 20 minutes of plot development could have easily been more fully defined in 'suspenseful' detail to warrant an additional 20 minutes running time to "fill out" this hurried ending... IMHO :-)
