Why cut the titles off??! Don't you understand how vital they are in the process of getting immersed in a film? Not to mention the small matter of knowing who's in it, who produced it, composed the music, directed etc.etc.!! I'll bet you've cut the end credits as well!

This was a lame attempt to redo a much better film about a former gangster that ends up in the Army with a head injury and Amnesia: Somewhere in the Night- John Hodiak, Richard Conte. If you liked this, you'll enjoy the earlier one, too. Both are definite Noir, full of those lovely shadows. TY for the post!

It's always interesting who the writer chooses to live & who dies. Petey/Percy did NOT deserve to die (I hope Eddie takes custody of Petey's cat). Vince? Yes. As for Eddie... by mob rules, he ratted out his partner and we don't know if he ever murdered anybody. But I think he should have gone down rather than Petey. IMO.🐈🐈🐈

Boy oh Boy. That ending had to be the WORST police action in any movie. Police forces all over the world could play it as a "What NOT to do". WOW. Shocking, inept leadership.
