The new camera must be working pretty good, you said everything I was thinking about each flashlight. It's really interesting how the 6v emitters seem more powerful and the tint does look much better on the 6v 6500k than the 3v 6500k. The c8+ with the smooth reflector and 5000k was impressive, I was surprised the smooth reflector improved the throw that much even though the 6v 6500k looks a little brighter.

Hello sir. I am so surprised that I can install a smooth reflector with xhp50.3 hi without a slight dark spot in the beam. It's like a fluke! I think it's because of a reflector size and hole. I use one with 7mm hole. However, when I try it with m21a 3v xhp50.3 hi, it has a slight dark spot! That's why I install op reflector in m21a. Anyway, I am happy with this new driver. The C8+ using 6v4a 'boost driver' for 1cell, The C8L also use the boost driver. The M21a uses 3v6a Linear driver, means brightnes decreases; linear to battery capacity while 'boost driver, boost the voltage the led needed and maintaining brightness to the led until the cell passed its voltage supply limit or until temperature regulation kicks in. Excellent video and review.. In my personal experience I would say that sofirn C8L is a little more powerful... I work as a night security guard and use sofirn C8L and very happy with this flashlight 🔦 poweful, easy to carry all night..

Smo can throw better sir but sometimes it can cause a slight dark spot in the beam. Mine c8+ in the vdo has no problem with this. However, I don't see much difference between smo and op. I think I will choose op sir for a more beautiful beam. Thanks for watching sir 😊. Please subscribe 🙏.

6v4a 6x4= 24watt, 3v6a 3x6= 18watt . 6v5a =30 watt. Perhaps Pioneman use the xhp70 driver. Simon approach is always considering the power and the ability of the host. I have my M21b xhp50.2 using the 6v5a driver since i'm after higher lumens number for the 100% mode. cheers🔦

You can use 6V 5A 17mm for XHP50.3 HI. Just make sure you mount the LED properly. Had one installed in an S2+ but I had it modified to accommodate a 20mm PCB and another copper plate under it to avoid overheating. I think C8 or M21A can handle the heat no problem as long as the PCB is pressed tight on the slot. 🙂
