Yup!✋🏼 It popped on my feed so I had to watch. My ol man was a truck driver (local) so when I was a little guy I was always SUPER jacked up about trucks and CBs. Ol man had a CB in his pickup and he would let me talk to the truckers. He always told me “stay outta them trucks! You stay in school!” I tried that but I was quickly bored. I “cheated” my way into a CDL and a truck driving job. It was cool as hell for a few years and it was great $$ at the time but then I was stuck in it. Couple years ago I retired after 30+ yrs and I’m done! I don’t care if I never climb up in a truck again. Btw- seeing this clip also brought back memories from the early 70s. In 1976 dad gave me his 1959 Ford truck to drive in High School. My boyfriend lived in High Point. I lived in Sophia. It was long distance to call each other so we decided on a time and we talked by CB radio that dad had in that old Ford and he had in his jeep...Good times...

Nobody told a story better than C.W. His songs were comical and original. Back in the day when life was fun and innocent. I miss those days.

LOL, I don't know where you lived but life was far from innocent.

I started driving professionally back in 2003. I got to talk to some of the older drivers and hear them on the CB. It was more of a brotherhood back then. It’s no longer that way.

As a flake headed college boy in 1996, me and my friends cranked this song on our way up to Wolf Creek Pass to do some backcountry snowboarding. Of course we played Wolf Creek Pass as well.
