Convoy L21B - Green Emitter is Perfect For Hunting?!

I don't have this particular L21B model with the Getian GT green LED, but I happen to have a Convoy M1 with the Osram CSLNM1.F1, an S21B with the CSLPM1.F1 and an M21H with the same Getian GT green as this L21B. 🔦💚 I heard that Convoy also sells a host with the CSLNM1.13 "true green" LED, but I've not seen reviews of it yet. The CSLNM1.13 is not exactly a new Osram product but Convoy has not used the M1.13 emitter yet. As far as green flashlights go, the CSLNM1.F1 and CSLPM1.F1 are Convoy's commonly fitted diodes. The Getian GT LED produces a very narrow wavelength monochromatic green color. It's actually not as bright as the CSLNM1.F1 (green with a touch of yellow hues) but there's nothing greener than it. A disadvantage of true green LEDs is that red and orange colors absorb green light, which makes red objects appear black or dark brown.

Infra Red (IR): illuminating for nightvision device. Ultra Violet (UV): checking "invisible" things or highlighting invisible things like banknote checking (safety elements), mineral examination, finding body fluids (police investigators using to find traces of urine, saliva, blood, semen, etc), finding several animals, like scorpions in the dark, etc. Red: preserving night vision, reading map, cockpit lighting, lighting in "dark room" where you working with light sensitive stuff like photo paper and negatives. Green: hunting - as far as I know there is two reason: the green is in the middle of the visible spectrum of the human eye so it is easy to see, the other is that green light does not stress or disturb animals. Blue: similar usage as the UV, following blood trail, etc. Did I miss anything?

You missed the orange light. I don't mean those 2700K "warm tint" white LEDs but monochromatic yellow/amber light. Osram makes such an LED and I think it's model name is the CSLNM1.FY. 😀

Me neither I'm waiting for it to arrive, I got the sft40 emitter, think I should have picked the XHP35 HI, maybe I won't mind
