Olight Baton Turbo - The Only Pocket Thrower You Need?!

I absolutely love this little Thrower. The option to use any CR123 battery with the included adapter is nice. And that adapter also work with the Olight IMR 16340 batteries from the Baton 4, S1R Baton II, and other lights. BONUS fact is that the Adapter can be used in the Olight Baton Nano is that like can use either CR123 or Olight IMR16340 batteries.

We need to see a comparison between the Baton turbo sft-25r vs. The wurkkos ts12 sft-25r! They both have smooth polished reflectors and all. One's a 14500 and the other is a 18350. Both batteries similar in performance .

Id like a compare vs Olight Javelot Mini. I have another 14500 thrower, Lumintop GTA. The spot is very strong but tiny! I like Javelot Mini alot more. Cheers.

I have both! I love my 25R, I am torn between the two. The 25 is lighter, USB C, and has a tail switch.

The closest comparable light to my knowledge would be the Thrunite Catapult Mini Pro. The Thrunite runs on the same cell is more powerful (just) but a much larger head. This Olight is going to be much easier to carry, which translates to probably going to get carried more.

What about the Surefire EDC1-DFT? Can also run 18350 and cr123a batteries and is a very throw oriented single cell light. It is around 95k candela vs 65k for Olight but it is significantly larger and much more expensive. I was considering getting the Surefire but glad Olight came out with this, especially the price I paid during their sale.

The thing about this baton is that its more of an EDC. The head of the light is over an inch, IMO still pocketable. The catapult has too big of head in my opinion carry in pocket.

Why do you hate Olight? Just curious. I have the baton 4 and Diffuse and both have been great so far. What would you recommend?

@@tyarnold4088 hey sorry i dont hate O-light products i hate there company lol they use ROBOTS instead of humans as employees so thats strick one and the owner is chineese not AMERICAN yeah the O-light wearhouse is in AMERICA but they dont heir any americans and they dont even have employees lol how do you trust a compnay that only robots knows whats going on lol also that makes it so more people looses there jobs or cant find one because of companies like this trying to make as much money as they can and fuck the poor man that need a jpb right lol so yeah if you agree with O-light then your just as bad

Great beam in a nice, small form factor. Proprietary battery is a deal-breaker. No thanks.

It's not a proprietary battary only flashlight. I received mine Thursday and used a Keeppower 18350 battery in it and it worked perfectly fine. It can also run primaries or 16340 batteries and includes an adapter for them with the light. The only way the battery is proprietary is that you need an Olight battery to use the included magnetic charging cable. But if you want to use any other 18350, 16340 or CR123a it works with them.

@@77surefire ah I see. Thanks for clarifying. But it takes away from one of my fave things about Olights, i.e., the built-in charging, if I use a regular 18350. Compromises I guess. Cheers

Like he said it comes with an adapter so you can put a more standard battery size into it.
