A sustained output of around 1000 lumens is impressive for a flashlight of this size and price.

That's because Convoy drivers aren't usually coded with proper thermal regulation, it's a set reduced output despite how hot it gets.

Got me one of these with a 719A in 2700K. By far the warmest LED torch I've ever owned, and probably the closest to an incan as I'll ever get. It makes my also-2700K S2+ SST20 look like a portable sodium vapour lamppost. Special shoutout to that steel bezel. It comes in real handy when you're clumsy and drop your light a lot.

Good light. I'm guessing the R90 is higher CRI but less lumens than the R70 as they are the same price? l already really like the 50.2 5000k in my Sofirn SP33V3 though a lot of tint shift.

R90 is high CRI but a few have said the R70 tint is nicer on the eye

Click: On/Off, Tap: Cycle Levels. 20+ rapid taps then wait for 1x shimmer > tap once > tap again after the first blink, now it's set to 5 levels. Easy Peezy

@@BOOSTEDLASER works out of the box. Anyway, I enjoy actually having a selection of groups rather than being stuck with something "dumb" from manufacturers. The firmware is open source which was designed by ToyKeeper, the one who designed the Anduril UI, it's just a bit outdated now. As a dealer for Convoy, I ship every flashlight on Group 10 for my customers 🙂
