Conway the Machine's debut solo studio album From King to a God was released on September 11, 2020 by Griselda Records, Drumwork and Empire Distribution. The production was done by Beat Butcha, Daringer, Alchemist, DJ Premier, Erick Sermon, Havoc, Hit-Boy, Khrysis, Murda Beatz, Rockwilder and Signalflow Music. Features on the album are from from Armani Caesar, Benny the Butcher, Dej Loaf, El Camino, Flee Lord, Freddie Gibbs, Havoc, Lloyd Banks, Method Man and Westside Gunn.

A great album, one of my favourites this year. Overall also one of the best Griselda ever released. Westside Gunns new one is the counterpart for this one and represents everything that I dislike about Griselda. Anyway, cant always be top notch with so many releases. This one here is fire. Besides Pray For Paris and Supreme Blientele it is my fav Griselda proiect.

I hear people saying that Con has been one dimensional. I never got that sense from him. I've always felt that Con has always been more personal than everyone in addition to being hard. My critique was that the overall quality of the albums haven't been top tier. But this one... This is by far my favourite Con project, one of the best Griselda projects. Best of 2020.
