Ain’t even mad at it! I can’t lie, I like the polish and versatility he showed on FKTAG and GDMM - my initial instinct says those are his best 2 but I got this right there with it. I even got this over Reject 2 and his collabs I like - Don’t Get Scared Now & Griselda Ghost.

Bruh Mach a jerk - he done pissed off half the dudes he collaborated with 😂😂😂. I heard that’s the song that split the group but had no idea it was supposed to be on GOAT. Mach and Con going back and forth woulda been OD! Bullets rip his shirt like queenzflip is my line haha. Do you know how Mach released it originally? Did he just release it as a loosie after he left the group?

Man that bar so tuff!! Benny street talk be so vivid and gritty. Haha nah for real - you know you rock with a artist when you remember the first time you got that feeling. Mine was his opening bars from Goodnight which was also my first time ever hearing him. Dude special and imo it sounds like he's back in his element after TT4 - I hope he keeps it up cus I thought last year was a drop off for him.

The first song samples Money by Pink Floyd basically with no addition. It's crazy that Conway could just float over such a slow spacey loop. The original song is also great

I listen to Trump, th3rd f, die on xmas atleast once a week. Definitely in my top 3 conway projects. The spookiness of each track and the bars and flows are incredible. Great album to put someone onto conway.

Big ole facts!! I wasn’t put on to Griselda until 2018 so take this with a grain of salt but this project feels as classic and pure as Reject 2 does. Ready to get into some of the Conway projects I haven’t heard like some of the FOOD projects.

I heard it, I didn’t have time to react cus of the holidays. Can’t lie to you though brodie - while I like it - I don’t think it’s a AOTY contender like I was hearing a lot of people say. When he was on he was on but he had a lot of songs that lacked that wit, introspection, and lyricism that I think made him the guy who I one point considered the bar for bar best in TDE. Not to be too negative - I like it - but I feel like I gotta preemptively defend why I ain’t as high on it as some people lol.

I never thought of it when I was listening but I totally felt that some wit was missing too. The way Ab soul raps is actually super unique and funny, and it's kinda like he toned it down for this one. Man has spoiled us for years with crazy wordplay and punches, this album felt kinda dry in comparison. I still get what he was going for though, mans been through a lot the past few years and I respect the honesty he put in his bars. I just hope he keeps rapping and gets in a better place mentally. It's crazy how there are so many rappers in the game yet so few can do what the goat's do. It really hit me when doom passed. I was like damn, there may never be another that does it like him. such a mind fuck how such a select few are pushing the game forward.

@@geoffking6031 yeah big facts. I love the vulnerability from Soul. I think he’s always been expressive but it’s almost like it’s hidden behind his complex mind. This project it felt raw. I also feel like it’s gotta a lot of pressure to 1) live up to a phenomenal breakout album in control system then 2) be part of a generationally talented label. Idk if he’ll ever make a album better than control system but at this point I just want him making music consistently. Yeah big ole facts bout doom. Plus it’s kinda hard to see how impactful someone is while you’re in the moment. With some of these artists who I think push the genre forward like a Griselda or Kendrick, I try to envision what the impact will look like in 10 years and even that’s hard.
