Watched this video the night before we went to Dollywood, and I definitely wanted to try this for lunch! Best sweet tea I've ever had from a restaurant, fast drive thru (I was shocked with the speed of service considering how much and what all we ordered,) and definitely reminded me of a home-cooked, backyard bbq meal! My kids and I were sooo happy with this establishment. Definitely going to be a regular for us every time we go to the smokies from now on! Glad you shared this with us!!

Yes we get Cookout maybe 3 times a month, I don't care for their chili but I love their barbecue sandwiches and onion rings and the one we go to in Greensboro has fried okra and it is so good , most of the time I get a tray I can make 2 meals from it, their milkshakes are so delish i always get the banana fudge, so glad Pigeon Forge got this restaurant, thank y'all for showing us and wow the fireplaces and it being 2 stories that's great , God Bless and safe travels

On our yearly drive to Florida from the DC area I start seeing signs for Cookout starting in Fredericksburg Virginia all the way down through Georgia. Never been in one but after seeing this I am going to have to try it. The prices look very reasonable. Nice video, thanks for showing us this.

We love Cook Out! Tried them for the first time on vacation in South Carolina or Florida (can't remember!), but they built one close to us here in GA a few years ago. I'm always blown away by their prices and how much food you get. Some things are definitely just so-so, but their burgers are awesome. And who doesn't love a shake?!

We enjoy our local Cookout. Best deal in town. I usually get the Big Double cheddar style with onion rings and hushpuppies. My wife likes their BBQ sandwich. But we've always been served our meal tray in a Styrofoam clam shell container. Looks like those other boxes would have more room for the items.

We just returned from an 8 day stay in Pigeon Forge. Casey and I did try the Cook Out for lunch one day and found the food to be excellent. My cheeseburger was excellent along with the onion rings and cole slaw. Casey tried a orange milkshake and thought it was pretty tasty! We would definitely do a return trip. Good food and prices. The only thing we did not care for was where we had to sit which was right in front of where you ordered your food. This is the only area for some one to eat that uses a wheel chair. It was cramped and when the order line got busy we had people almost standing over us while we ate. I wish they had a ramp to the lower floor or at least an outside door so we could of ordered then went and sat in a more comfortable area. Thanks for all of your videos J&B. We really enjoy watching! Hoping to run into you in the near future, maybe Hobby Lobby, Cracker Barrel, or BNB Works?? I swear Casey has a sixth sense of where you two might be when we are in your area. LOL! Take care guys.

Wait ...what??? those prices are great!!! I wish they had a Cook Out in my state. I like the burgers are a little smaller, folks really don't need a huge burger, plus you get the 99 cent items as well, and the great shakes. What I love is they are freshly made burgers can't beat that!! you can eat mexican style if you are in the mood. I love the look of this place modern, trendy, with that gorgeous fireplace and 2 floors~~~ wow. I would be headed to the 2nd floor if my knees would allow it lol. Bobbie those chili dogs look great!!! John your burger had what i like ONIONS!!! I Would get both tge shakes and floats! Cherry my favorite flavor so the cherry wine float a winner! Just moved from Raleigh and was soooo excited to see Cook Out. The Out West Burger is the way to go with a side of coleslaw and their onion rings are divine! And always a Huge Sweet Tea and a Cheerwine Float. The pro tip is to eat in if you get the Cheerwine Float because they give you so much ice cream you'll want to go to the self serv soda fountain and fill it back up with more Cheerwine before you leave. And a chili dog with onions as an extra side. So proud of you for doing it exactly right considering you've never been there! 😊

I love Cook Out. I have 1 15 minutes from my house. I have 2 go tos cheese burger with chili and cold slaw with onion rings. Next is grilled chicken with lettuce and tomatoes. Milk shake is double chocolate. I’ll order multiples and take home for multiple meals. My Cook Out is walk up or drive through. Loved the indoor dinning. Yes it’s a NC company and I am a NC citizen. Before I retired I ate Cookout 2 - 3 times a week. Switched between burger with lettuce, tomato & onion and sides of fries and onion rings or hotdogs with slaw only. Took the shake back to the office for mid-afternoon snack.

Thanks for the video! When I was living in Greenville, NC, one opened in the early 2000s and it was very expensive. Years later, one opened in another location there and it was how you saw yours today with one exception: no eat in - it was just a little hut like structure that you walked up and ordered at the window (or you could drive up on the other side of it). The cole slaw was very much what you see in eastern NC at many places like Parker's, Pop's Burgers, etc. People love that slaw on their burgers and hot dogs. The chili is also a staple in ENC. I would love the Cheerwine or that amazing shake! PB and Banana (yum!) is one of my choices when I go to Smoothie King (I often get chocolate mixed in too!). I love thick shakes! I usually get a spoon to accompany the straw or you can blow out your brain trying to get it through the straw! hehe

I think you misspelled inexpensive. I've never been to a Cookout that was expensive. The one here in Shelby has a walk up window and drive thru on both sides. There's always a line but they move you through pretty quickly.

Good company. I was letdown by their bar b que, expected more, and called the number on the cup. I spoke with a nice woman who sent me a voucher in the mail for a free meal. When I returned to cook out, a second cashier saw me and rushed my order, which was really good. I’m just spoiled, we have lots of great bar b que here in mid Alabama. Great review! Gosh, that is a very nice Cookout. The one close to me is only takeout. I love this one. I LOVE their milkshakes, they are amazing. I love their hamburgers and hot dogs. I live about a mile from one and love going there. I like their BLT's too. I have not had one in a long time, but they used to load them with bacon. I been to The Cookout in Salisbury, Md. The location is directly across from the college so it’s always crowded as is the drive through . The price is unbelievable but if you’re counting calories, then it’s overloaded. It’s worth the treat every now and then. The menu , changed a bit. I had chocolate peanut banana shake and also chocolate malt. Actually you are better off ordering the complete meal than just purchasing the shake alone. There’s none in my area and Cheerwine is very hard to find. I still can’t get Hillbilly Heaven out of my mind. That’s on my Bucket list! lol 😂 J&B are the best, truly.

We have a Cookout here where I live. I love their milkshakes. Yep they are thick...too thick to suck through a straw almost. Great place to get food in the middle of the night because our's stays open until 3 am.

Cookout is the best deal in fast food, and some of the best milkshakes, period. I’m partial to the blueberry cheesecake milkshake. Though I do recommend a spoon for the shakes.

We have a Cook Out up here in Martin, Tennessee. I thought the shakes were my favorite part. Very good and thick. I got the Banana Pudding shake....Delicious!

Love the hotdogs "cookout" style! The BBQ is Delicious(Eastern North Carolina Style). Cajun style fries are the day to go. A1 Steak Burger is Awsome! Believe it or not I've never had a shake from there yet as many years I've eaten there!😂

Just had two corn dogs from there yesterday. Had them in Greenville SC for around 10 years now. Trays used to be a little over 5 bucks. Glad they are switching to that style box from the styrofoam.
