This is one of my favorite meals to cook, and eat. I usually make mashed potatoes but occasionally I will make rice. My mamaw always made rice with her roast. There aren’t many things in life better than buttery rice and roast gravy.

Use beef broth! Also, there are liners so you don’t have to scrub later! Chuck is the best for pot roast!im def going to try Brussel sprouts like that. I never thought to sauté them. Ty for the idea.

It’s 5 am, hurricane coming? I live between Boca and Ft Lauderdale. But your pot roast made me hungry and I’m going to make pork chops and stuffing..NOW! I add 16oz brewed black coffee to cooking and a truck full of carrots! I slice my meat and in a few days I serve over bread, hot roast beef sandwiches. I enjoy your cooking. Great video! As to the mashed potatoes, I use the potato water, just a bit!, instead of milk and then add ranch dressing to give it a zing! Brussels Sprouts are my favorite green vegetable!

We just had pot roast on Sunday. I make mine in the Instant Pot. Pot roast, gravy packet, salt, pepper, Worcester sauce, large diced potatoes, carrots, onion and celery. 2 cups beef broth. 55 minutes then NR 15 minutes. My hubby likes all the veggies. Next time I'll try your recipe over the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts sounds yummy 😋

Looks delicious! I'd love an easy recipe in a Sunday reset. But if you did it on a Friday you could do a more involved dessert to go with it so you had more to film. Either way I'm here for it!
