ohhhh myyyyy goodnesssss, your daughter creating and reading that "kid's menu" was precious. You have definitely developed an appreciation for food and cooking in your daughter, and love to see them help! You are such a great example! I wish I had started more of home growing and cooking when mine were younger, I just didn't know any better! I just recently found you and LOVE your vlog! I'm still dreaming of my farmhouse, but learning in the home I have for now with my family of 6.

Seeing the menu your kids made just warmed my heart so much! When I was little my friends and I would try to stay up all night and plan a breakfast menu to give our parents breakfast in bed haha, we ALWAYS ended up falling asleep and then would wake up to the smell of banana chocolate chip muffins or waffles from our parents. Such good memories!!! I still love to bake and cook, and it's one of my boyfriend and I's favorite things to do together. For our anniversary he got me a cookbook we can fill out together with all of our favorite things. I can't wait until I can cook with my kids from that cookbook, and hopefully inspire their creativity in the kitchen!

Sadly my log burner did not heat my house very well at all, It was the only heating we had in 240 Sq Metre house. We now have a pellet burner, it was so darned expensive but seems ok so far, still won't be enough.. Even though I am a vegetarian of 30 years, with one adult child, very much my choice, I love watching your films, and seeing the little ones doing there bits to.

Sweet potatoes in quiche??? I’ve never thought of that! I loooove sweet potatoes! I too am a winter soup-aholic! I also enjoy making chicken Marsala (can’t wait to try it as a soup) but my problem is that it calls for Marsala wine but we don’t drink. I tried using cooking Marsala and it has a vinegary taste. Do you use Marsala and if you do how do you store the unused portion? Love getting to see and hear the kids! Love Daniel’s overalls! 🥰 BTW, while reading through the comments one day a fellow subscriber mentioned your book. Why did I not know this??? I bought it yesterday! Can’t wait until Monday! My husband is a big hunter. We use venison much like beef. Since it's so lean it usually won't stick together for burgers unless you grind fat up with it but other than that - spaghetti, chili, tacos, steaks, anything you'd normally use beef for! His fave is to make "hobo stew" which is ground venison, butter, onion, potatoes, & really any veggies you want all wrapped in a foil pack and put on the grill or on the coals of a fire. Delicious. Sorry for the long comment. We eat a lot of venison. 🤣
