Paul I may actually have to get this book. I do have a lot of cookie recipes most of them were my mother's. But she never offered me any point of reference as far as the "how to do it" goes. Top it off with the great reference tools like the difference between dry and wet ingredient measurements, and it makes for a great read

Wow, this sounds like a great cookie cookbook. Thanks! There is something daunting about baking cookies. You can’t just stir them up and throw them in the oven and go do anything else. My favorite thumbprint cookie has hot pepper jelly in the center instead of fruit jam. You are making me drool!

Our dinner went wonderfully. My husband took our youngest home and told the middle son when Your Mom's ready bring her home. Okay. That was 3:30. O and his girlfriend gave up the vegan shit I told her I was gonna do the Dolly Parton diet and she said Your gonna have to go under the knife then cause none of that's real. I said no the cabbage soup diet. Well we wound up having a blast. At 7 Hubby calls the son and say's where is your mother? He said I don't know she's not home yet? NO. Well we got into a fight over politics and she started walking and I let her go So my husband starts yelling you should have called me and told me right then which way did she head? I'm going to call your brother and we better find her. To which he busts out laughing and says no Dad she's right here. We are at Grandpa's and we will be home later. She's there? Yes. Dad I would never let her walk home from here. Are you crazy? Well that's not funny. When I got home he said I should have known you'd never make it to the corner. I said corner hell I'd call for a cab or Uber and they could pick me up in the drive. How would you pay for it? Well I'd come in and get your wallet. He said that's my girl. It was a great day. Nothing went right and we laughed our butts off. Hope you had a great time as well guys. :)
