I agree! It is a little backwards to call "crack" a good thing on one hand while it destroys lives on the other hand. Thanks for thinking beyond "the joke".

I always hesitate when I’m filming and I go to call a recipe “crack”. I know that’s just the name and I get why they call it that, but I also know how triggering and hurtful it can be for some. I think your feelings about it shows what a kind heart you have.

Hubby and I also don't care for the way food has made "crack" a supposed positive thing. I also dislike the tern "food porn". I never use these names around my children. I've noticed that people who have recovered from these addictions aren't really amused by them either.

I don’t like that word either. I’ve actually avoided recipes with that name. I trust you so I’m willing to give it a try. The chicken and stuffing I made before but I used up the uncooked stuffing that wouldn’t fit in my turkey I froze it and made up my own version of this recipe. It was delicious it tasted like Thanksgiving Dinner.

I found the recipe online that she used and it calls for marinating your 1 lb chicken tenders for 15 minutes with: 2 teaspoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon garlic, minced 1 teaspoon ginger, grated Hope that helps.

@sadieesther97212 жыл бұрын
Can you do a video on how to clean up, wash, and like re oil your cast iron please? Idk how to do this/in what order. Like if you cook something greasy, how do you clean it off enough for you to be able to wash it without getting too much grease down the drain? I was taught never, ever use dish soap on cast iron so I’m confused 😩 all the videos on KZbin are about seasoning the pan, not daily use
@CookCleanAndRepeat2 жыл бұрын
Hey Sadie! Okay, here’s the easy version. You always want to clean your skillet while it’s still hot. It’s a lot easier to get food off before it’s completely cooled on to your skillet. I use a plastic scraper to get all the food bits off. And then all upu have to do is run under super hot water and wipe with a rag or paper towel. As for grease, just drain into a bowl or cup lined with tin foil. The grease will harden and you just ball it up and toss it! And also, you CAN use a tiny bit of soap if you really need to. Just make sure to rinse it well. To store my skillets, i make sure they’re 100% dry, add a dime size amount of crisco (any cooking oil with work) all over the pan. And then I put a paper towel or rag between my larger skillet and smaller one inside of it.

I don't like the name "crack" chicken, either. However, I do love the dish - had it over noodles and mashed potatoes and rice and rolled up in flour tortillas and baked into taquitos. Did you add bacon to yours? It is delish. I look forward to trying your melt in your mouth chicken and your version of crockpot chicken and dressing - looks yummy!

Look at the cooking. Quit making a big deal over terms,way too much censoring and sensitivity. Don't like recipe names, give your own names to your recipe cards.
@patricialee14772 жыл бұрын
I agree with you that the name of this dish is undesirable. But, the good thing about it is that you know right up front that is BAD for your health. Crack kills and so does this combination of fats. Having it for a special event is probably not going to overdose us though, right? These chicken recipes sound delicious.
