French bread pizza is a Christmas Eve tradition in our family, bc when we were kids my parents promised us kids pizza after church on Christmas Eve but everywhere was closed. My dad was able to get some sub rolls from the one little store that was open and my mom turned it into French bread pizza. That was 30 years ago and I carry on the tradition with my kids and so do all my siblings.

Omg!! I could not believe you said add curry powder to the cabbage. I use a small sprinkle (1/8 tsp) at the end and it does wonders ... just wonders on the flavor!! 😋

We make the sausage and cabbage but with potatoes too. Then I do a splash of apple cider vinegar at the end. It's so good!

I used to make a cheap onion stroganoff. Instead of meat, I used finely sliced brown onions, packed mix of stroganoff spices, a little bit of oil or butter to cook the onion and some sour cream. And of course noodles or mashed potato.

Another way to make the pizzas is to use Texas toast. We use the cheese garlic toast to give extra cheese. These all look so good. Love these type of videos some weeks is tight.

The "Official" Texas Toast sells for $5.98 in my area...there are some Super Markets that have their own brand for $1.99-$2.49, but all of those loaves are small, you couldn't feed 4 with any of the Frozen Brands since they all have just 8 slices and they're so small it's like 3 bites and you're done.

Everything looks absolutely yummy. Not big on the cabbage. But i would give it a try. The Philly steak pasta oh yeah. I know the peppers also had onions & i love onions. I made the French bread pizza omg it was so good, reminded me of Village Inn pizza. Idk if you have a village inn near you but it’s the best pizza ever! I added onions and green peppers (fresh from my garden) with pepperonis and my hubby had ham mushroom & onion. We usually always have ham, cheese, onions, green peppers, and mushrooms on hand so it really is a $5 meal and had lunch the next day (were empty nesters)
