For anyone confused as why there is no voice, it’s because there’s a strike going on between voice actors so then their voice can’t be replaced by ai. This is mainly a strike against the voice acting company’s so devsis can do anything about it.

Besides, if my suspicions about the "Master" of girls correct and they are the Dark Enchantress, then their talks about "can I keep you" about some cookies might be their goal of searching for strongest cookies, strongest ingredients for Dark Enchantress's research

I would say the story is the the triple cup Trio basically participating in another tournament and as well as the new Trio and it plays like a visual novel Ellen choices are basically please do not accidentally pick the wrong option otherwise you get to a dead end Kouign-Amann would not join the competition if you're greedy decided to take cover get some trapped getting prune juice injured Pudding A La Mode causing one big explosion crumbling every single cookie in the arena anyways can't wait for the next episode

This might be the worst update ever. I think because of the recent voice actor strike, they couldn't get the voices in here, while voices are usually gone for minor stories, like the Cherry Blossom one. Also, for some reason, to not make more dialogue, they added this weird long explanation box, which I don't like. Cookie Run games are really in disaster the last few months.

The larger text box presents the narration in the NVL (novel) format, which has the text covering most of the screen, while all the dialogue is presented in ADV (adventure) format. NVL is less common nowadays, so perhaps some people just aren't used to it.

You can always try to replay a chapter to try choosing both options of every story, even if you pick the "wrong" choice, you will open the next chapter, plus the game gives you a picture in "match collection" (if that's how it's called, I don't remember exactly) if you choose the "wrong" option
