That sounds nice. There are 2 main ukelele tunings, both GCEA. Low G is '5 frets up' from the high strings of a guitar. High G has the Low G string raised an octave higher (to confuse guitarists.) Aquila also make 2 string sets for tuning like a violin 13" or viola 15". Tenor banjo standard (jazz) tuning is the same as a viola.

I think I'll have to have go a this Liesl - what size is that neck 2"x1" ? Also - did you make your own bottle neck slide - if so how?

Hi Martin! Yes, the wood I used is 2 "× 1" and I skimmed about 1/8" from the depth of the headstock to accommodate the tuning pegs. I have posted pictures of the building process on a community post so you can refer to it. Nice one, Martin 👍 ... Happy building, my friend 😊 Ps. I didn't make the slide. I bought it from ' Dog House bottle neck guitar slides, here in the UK. I think they are on Etsy, if not Ebay. If you want an inexpensive metal slide, they are available from Amazon 😊

Yeah, a piezo can easily be added to the inside of the neck, and the jack plug will fit nicely into the side of the tin 👍
