Cooking a Turkey Breast with Bandit

A Bandit cooking show is something I'd definitely watch. Especially for a guy like me who's trying to learn I'm actually having Jacob and a few other friends over for Thanksgiving dinner at my house this weekend, and this will help a lot!

Cooking with Bandit ! This is something new for you guys out there and I'm no Cook or Chef by any means, I'm just a guy that enjoys good food that tastes really good ! This I figure if I can make this anyone can make it and if you like tender juicy turkey breast this is the recipe for you. 3 pound turkey breast thick cut bacon stick butter wide Aluminum Foil (18 inch wide roll) and an oven safe bowl is about all you need. Just do as I did in the video and set the over at 350* and cook for 3 1/2 hours and you will end up with a very tender juicy full of flavor turkey breast that will make your tung want to reach out and slap your brain silly good ! LOL I really hope you enjoyed watching me make this and I really hope you try it yourself cause I know you'll love it. Bandit

Hey Don - It's Thursday the 17th and I made that turkey recipe. Left the Red Shed early so I could get the turkey in the oven by 5 and it was done at 8:30. When done, it was absolutely delicious!!! I had some mashed potatoes and corn with it. Glad you shared that recipe and guaranteed I'll make it again. No doubt about it.

I'm no cook for say I'm just a guy that likes good food ! LOL I've been cooking for a long time and it simply came out of boredom wanting something different to eat. I can make some really good food and its simple food. Grandma told my aunt when she was fussing around about making something to eat, She told her "If your going to take the time to make something to eat you might as well make it taste good ! " . That has stuck in my head ever sense ! The way I cook and make stuff well if I can do it anyone can too ! I dont need or want fancy food I want just good normal food we used to eat when we were younger that you looked forward to having for dinner . This turkey recipe is so simple and if you make it is sooooooo good you'll be hooked on it ! I've watched a lot of video of people making turkey and they talk about how juice and tender and you see they serve it and then its covered with gravy ! Mine is just like you see it in the video and its tender and juice like you wouldnt believe. This might just become a regular thing on the channel if there is enough interest in it so we'll see what happens, I make a lot of different food and I guess thats why I'm a little heavy ! Hey bandit had one of them same turkey breast a month ago. My wife cooked it was real tasty. I see you got the hat my son in law sent you. Looks good on you. I had mom and dad down for Thanksgiving and I made 2 of those turkeys one like I showed and the other was done the same way and added some spices and cajon spice to it and boy it was good ! I guess you could say I'm a man of many hats ! LOL I learned to cook a long time ago and just never showed it before but I make a lot of different dishes that are simply so good your tung will reach out and slap your brains silly ! LOL Like grandma said to my aunt one day "If your going to take the time to make something to eat you might as well make it taste good" I got to say truer words were never spoken ! I might once a month put up a cooking with Bandit just for the fun of it , This is something most guys would never do ! But I figure if I can make it anyone can and I keep things simple for this reason. I had hoped you would see that hat and I do appreciate them a lot I really do, I think the first of the year I'm going to make a few changes for the channel to make things better at least I hope it will. I really enjoyed our phone chat and it was fun talking with you all and I really hope we can do it again soon. I've made it with cajon style spices and boy was it ever good ! I tried it the way your thinking of doing it but the top of the turkey gets tough from the dry heat in the over so I leave it covered with foil and good and juicy is the way it comes out. But if you figure it out let me know and I'll try it that way too. Bandit

I like spice in my food but if its something that is going to burn for hours I'll pass on it. Good taste and flavor and a little heat is good for the soul but if it really burns forget it ! Plus I'm getting older and the belly dont like really spicy stuff anymore, I might like it but my body dont ! Bandit

If you like spicy food add some Cajun spice and a little Cayenne and Paprika to the turkey and cook it the same way and its really good ! It's hard to go wrong with bacon and butter , It makes everything better ! Bandit

I'm not a fancy cook, I just want to make really good tasting normal food ! Hay us older guys got a trick or two up our sleeves to pull out when needed. All the turkey I've eaten in my life has always been dry and a bit chewy, This is really tender juicy and full of flavor and will make your tung want to reach out and slap your brains silly ! My mom and dad simply love it when I cook this for them or have them over for dinner. Dad likes to talk at dinner but he is as quiet as a church mouse when turkey in on the table ! Bandit

@@pagrainfarmer Its so easy to make them this way and there so good and after you've had it you just dont want it any other way ! Little 3 pounders are perfect for a couple of people and you can have left overs the next day. I make them with a little spice added to them and boy is it ever good and the GF loves it ! The bad thing about me cooking is I cook by taste so if I was a chef I'd be about 500 pounds in no time ! LOL So I'll stick to farming and just eat good every now and then ! LOL Bandit

Before I was divorced 10 years ago, I never cooked and had to learn. I don't make a lot of different dishes, but I have a few i can make very well - I do have to follow a recipe - not good at making them up myself. The way I figure it I only eat turkey 2 or 3 times a year so I'd rather it taste really good than worry about what the doc has to say about it, Every thing in moderation ! LOL This is one of those IF I can cook it anyone can too just as easy. I'll tell you the truth if you make one your going to fall in love with it cause its that good ! I've been cooking for years tho my mom still wonders ware I learned to cook from cause as she said I didnt learn it from her ! My GF says I do an excellent job cooking and doctoring up other foods to make them taste a lot better. When I work I work hard and my hands show it but when I cook they end up looking like a surgeons hand being nice and clean ! My grandmother told my aunt something one time when I was a kid when my aunt was making something to eat in a hurry, She said If your going to take the time to make something to eat you might as well make it taste good ! Well it stuck a cord in me, Truer words have never been spoken! So I figure if I'm going to cook something I'm going to make it taste really good ! LOL Now all these years later if I cook there is very little ever left over to put away. I only make this a couple of times a year so we really like it this way. A guy has to bend the rules a little every now and then and enjoy himself when he eats on those occasions. I've eat a lot of soup beans and corn bread growing up and still have them but now over the last 10 years I've really started to cook even more and I can make a mean pot of pork and beans and BBQ and some really sneaky chilly that get everyone ! LOL It dont taste spicy at first but after about 4 or 5 bites it sneaks up on you ! Its great when its cold out ! LOL Bandit
