I save every one of those containers my starts come in too. I never spend money to up-pot my plants in the spring. I love that. I use to start my seeds too….I got a ton of them. Washed out, sun dried and stacked away for next year

What a feeling of accomplishment, Tessie! Herbs planted, laundry done and smelling "outdoorsy," meatballs made, strawberries netted, windows washed. (I have a feeling I've forgotten something.) You have every reason to feel proud. All the things that a woman does (well, men too!) pretty much anonymously in the course of a day. As so many folks have said: "They only notice when you *don't* do it!" We have so many holidays. Sometimes I wish we could have one to celebrate the "Unknown Worker"! How many people change diapers, empty trash bins, mop floors, make fries, change oil in cars, pick up trays in nursing homes, and on and on? All the people who keep the world spinning without ever getting recognition! I wish we could have "Attagirl/Attaboy Day!" Praying that you can take comfort in all you accomplished today, Tessie, and have a peaceful, happy evening.

Yea! you finally got the netting on. Next year find some small stones the size of strawberries and paint them red. Put them in the berry patch before the crop comes on. After the birds peck at them a few times they will decide to leave them alone because they aren't edible. Then when the real ones show up you get them all.

Happy Tuesday Tessie, busy day for you. Your deck looks very inviting. I hope you and hubby get a chance to sit and relax on it. Love the blue rug. OH, did I get a good deal (FOR FREE) another persons trash was my gain. 1 oval galvanized steel container and 1 lg galvanized flower container both looked like they just left a store. We were by the lakes near our house and I got so excited they were sitting by the trash can's, I kept telling my husband pull over, pull over. It's the little things in life, right. Thanks for another great video! I also love my rain barrel. I always have a bucket or something under my spigot when I rinse something so I don't waste that precious water and water plants or wash my hands after playing in dirt. Even then it goes to plants! Keep up the good work!

Dear Tessie its great to see you with a smile on your face! I have a little suggestion, i would put a little dish pan under the faucet of your rain barrel to catch the water you use to rince things and pour it over your plants. This accomplishs 2 things, not wasting water and getting the excess moisture away from your foundation. Excess moisture can cause rot, draw insects and terminates and critters especially during this dry season. I would run a drain from your outside kitchen away also. Just a bit of advice from someone who once didn't pay attention and caused quite a bit of damage to my own home, rot, mold, insects, mice all because i did not channel the water away. Blessings

Clean windows are imperative for me, lol. I clean them in the spring and also in the fall. (The guy upstairs has not washed his since 1996 when the new tilt in windows were installed) I, too, make lists! I love crossing tasks off after completion.
