From ssbwiki, the move description for fair: Whips out a box forwards. If hit when it first comes out, it has high damage, but if DI'd into, the opponent will be hit for minor damage with very low knockback. According to the official melee website, this move originates from Mario's Cement Factory, however the object looks closer to the boxes from Game & Watch version of Mario Bros.

You might say that he's... cooking casuals! In all seriousness though I don't mind putting in footage of n0ne bodying casual players, but there is a point if it's just absolute one sided Hulk smashery then I won't include it. In hindsight, I could have possibly taken that footage out.

I mean I guess it's technically possible to have written something and not read it, though I see your point! No More Heroes is a bit of an odd duck - it's definitely not for everyone, but the person in charge of making it (Suda51) is a bit like Hideo Kojima in the sense that most of his games have a pretty unique style to it. Now, I happen to like it because I like the music, aesthetic and gameplay though I think I'm pretty easy to please for the most part - also I played it when I was in high school so it definitely gets nostalgia points for me. These days I don't know if I could recommend it in good faith, the the series definitely has it fans. I think overall it's a quirky game, but I mean that in the nicest way possible. I realize I did a lot of talking without really talking about what the game's about, but maybe I'll do that in another comment or something!

@@Frudgey - Oddly enough, I watched No More Heroes playthroughs at some point following this, and I REALLY didn't care for it, haha. It seems like there are committed fans *somewhere*, but I won't be one of them, and that's alright.

Game and watch is imo the most underrated character in this game, people think he's bad because of his shield and inability to L cancel but ignore his fantastic hitboxes and combos

@74 year old man yeah he's the same for me. He's just alright. He does good against a lot of characters but his worst matchups are spacies, which are also the most common characters so that kinda fucks him.

I don't have very strong opinions about Game & Watch's viability, though some of his moves seem absolutely brutal. His up air in particular seems just outright nasty!

@74 year old man yeah, i think if it could be l canceled it'd be more useful, because its Game And Watch's fastest aerial, i think the most common use is to use it after downtilt on characters like samus or luigi who are hard to combo with nair since it comes out so slow.
