If my grandma didn't have drippings she would just salt and heavy pepper the gravy. She called it pepper gravy, telling me that during her childhood and the depression sometimes there weren't drippings so pepper was salt and pepper were your friend. I still live by that if I need too.

Yes! Hotel towels are the best! I always use vinegar and NEVER ANY fabric softener..gums up the cotton and never absorbs water properly. Also line dried bleached white sheets are my absolute favorite for another hotel like freshness at home! Nite nite!😴 🥰
