Moracro cooks Moroccan tagine for his American family. The food of Morocco can be exotic to Americans, I hope to introduce more of my family to the Moroccan tajine. Today Moracro cooked a marinated chicken tajine, or tajine mchermel. The ingredients included Moroccan food flavor staples such as saffron, lemon, ras al hanout, cumin, ginger, and paprika. I bought my mom an Emile Henry tagine to practice some Moroccan recipes, as she likes cooking, usually in the pioneer woman style. We bring a little bohemian kitchen into the Moracro kitchen today as we are making tajine in America. I take the Moroccan cuisine skills and tastes I learned in Agadir and Taghazout and put them to the test here in Schaumburg Illinois.
