The couscous does look quite appetizing! However, I noticed that you may want to consider adjusting the amount of water used when cooking the couscous. To achieve optimal texture and flavor, it is recommended that you use approximately 3 cups of water when initially soaking the couscous grains. After allowing it to rest for 5 minutes, mix the grains with your hands and drain any excess water. Next, steam the couscous for 5 to 10 minutes or until you see steam escaping from the top. Once steamed, transfer the couscous to a container and break it up with a spoon. Wait until it cools down a bit before using your hands to add approximately 2 cups of water. Repeat these steps three times, but instead of water for the third round, use butter to give the couscous an extra burst of flavor.
