In this video, my mother joins me for a Mother's Day truck camping trip. We embark to our campsite where we cook New York steaks from Costco. We are blessed with some amazing views, excellent spring Montana weather and the amazing company of each other. Haha yup! Camped out of the back of it just like you are doing atm. She has a 4 inch foam mattress that works wonderful.

Looks like you had a great Mother’s Day with your Mom. You and I have very similar taste and passion for camp cooking. I watched your technic closely. I bought one of those Mountain House Ice Cream bars based on your recommendation, but haven’t been camping yet to actually try it.

It was an excellent Mother’s Day for sure. Glad I got to spend it with her and enjoy a great meal! Some might see the cooking as overkill, but I find it extremely relaxing out there. Let me know how you like the ice cream! It’s a different texture at first but it’s a good treat to have - it’s really nice in the winter months to enjoy it without being cold 😉
