Cooking our dinner with sunlight! we decided to put our solar cookers to the test and see which one and which method is best! We cooked three different things, three separate ways and found out the best way to cook with solar! Follow the steps that we outline in this video, and you will be a solar cooker pro in no time! I am eating as we watch your video, falafel and tabouli. The Falafel I made in my parabolic solar oven this afternoon and the Bulgur for the tabouli I made at 5 p.m. after I got home from picking up the neighbor. With the solar cooker that you were using I took a large Prego bottle and painted it black except for a strip up tape which I took off so I could see inside. I put the Prego lid tight back on And I cooked the rice in that inside of a plastic bag and it worked fine in about 2 hours. I actually cooked my household's meal for the month of April except for a couple of days. Cakes and cinnamon rolls and sweet potatoes and chicken and fried eggs on and on. And that was in Michigan. You can do it and the chicken and potatoes with mushroom sauce proves it. Don't stop!

ExCellent Presentation...I absolutely lovVed it!😍I haVe been playinG at SolaR CookinG because I live in a walkup apt here in Edmonton and haVe been blessed to haVe to go through several Power Outages in the past 2 years that I haVe liVed here!😥And...because so many of fellow tenants haVe serious Health Challenges like me...I thought to Hell with it...I will learn SolaR CookinG to ensure that we all get fed!👍PluS I also haVe a Trianga Alcohol Stove if we need to use it in the event of an EMP!👍I made a cheap "Red NeCk" SolaR Cooker out of a 1 foot box!👍I took out one side of the boX and lined my other sides and the floor of the boX with foil!👍The firSt time I cooked thin pork chops in it by puttinG the pork chops into 2 dark camping plates and put it into a Ziplock Bag with a thermometer and then I put the plates onto a camping pot like you have and put them into a very large clear plastic garbage bag to cook!!!👍The Pork Chops came out so Juicy...10/10... and cooked perfectly at CloSe to 175°F!👍I also put some eggs to poach in a dark covered pan and put them over my camping pot in the plastic bag and was so friggen happiii when the temperature got to 200° F...yippee...they turned out perfect!😃🌹🥚🥚🥚🌹I, also, used a CaR SunShade to heat up some defrosted PiZZa Pops and they turned out wonderfully!👍Plz check out DIY Kauai for how to use Sunshades as he iS an awesome teacher like you!👍I haVe been cookinG for 50 years since I was a wee one so I was so happiii when you mentioned about addinG a can of soup to the Chicken/Potatoe MiXture to keep it super moiSt!😃I appreciate all oF you KZbinrs teachinG Humanity about SolaR CookinG as millions of people don't have access to our modern cookinG appliances!😥PluS they aRe haVinG to kill so many trees just to get firewood foR their food!😥Shine On YounG ones and haVe a BleSSed Life!✌😍🙏😇🌹🌞🌹☕🍵☕🍹🍻🎋🦜P.S...if you want to grow your channel very quickly...simply turn thiS into quick 30 second video like a lot of you Tubers are doing to help make Humanity aware of the benefits of SolaR CookinG!👍

If you haven't already solved the rice problem ..... Rice problem was not enough water in the rice to cook it. White rice ratio is 1 cup rice and 2 cups of water. It takes closer to 1.5 cups of water when using a solar cooker because there's less evaporation. Experiment a bit because it can vary by type of rice, evaporation rate, etc.

Great Job, i just think that all you need is to make the solar heater part more parabolic and find the point of most solar concentration. I'm throwing this out there as per the solar fire starter principal which does work.
